My wife and I recently scored a Chariot (pre-Thule ownership) CTS Chauffeur 2-seater child carrier bike trailer. OK, that was a mouthful. We got it used from a garage sale with the stroller accessories for a very good price! It’s barely been used and was stored indoors!
My wife hasn’t been out on a bike in some time, so we set up my Allant for her to use. New shock seat post for the seat for more ride comfort, new FIPS helmet, and a trailer hitch for the bike.
First run out, we took our daughter down to the city park for play time. My wife was pleasantly surprised about how light everything was with the trailer. First family bike trip was a success!
I have a feeling we’ll be doing this more often this summer.
